Greater Houson Baseball Camps each year receives many special questions about the Camps concerning the coaching staff and what is taught. We hope this will answer your questions. If you still have a question after reading this, please feel free to call, and remember... “we care about your baseball future.”

We are at a facility that has indoor and outdoor availability. “We do not get rained out.”

The Camps carrry a full staff with approximately 10-15 players per coach. Players are grouped by ages... 7 & 8, 9 & 10, etc.

Our coaching staff is made up of young men who are coaching on high school and college levels, college players and other former athletes who know the Ultimate Baseball Skills and Drills System.

Lunch times and breaks at Camps are not supervised.

Since players are grouped by ages, every group will have players who are behind in their skill development as well as those with a greater degree of skill ability. Individual attention within the groups is given by the group coach.

We teach a system of skill development that is applicable to all ages and that will help players who desire to improve, move to the next level.

The Greater Houston Baseball Camps are not an end in itself. It is a beginning ! Each Player will be taught how to use the skills taught at camp in a home training program which will keep him or her moving forward.

Each players and Parent will be taught bag games and Skills contests to give them the opportunity to test their understanding of the drills and earn baseball cards.

Each player and Parent will receive a Notebook and a T-Shirt on opening day or night.

Each Player and Parent should bring their equipment bags with bat and glove and cleats as well as tennis shoes for when we are inside.

Each Player and Parent are to bring drinking water (2 quart container) on Saturdays as well as their lunch packed in an insulated container.

Shorts, t-shirts, tennis shoes and cap are appropriate clothing to wear to camp. Baseball pants and rubber cleats are also okay. Cleats have to be removed if we go indoors. IMPORTANT... be comfortable and cool.

Girls are welcome to attend. We do not cover pitching for softball players, but all the other skills of hitting, fielding and throwing apply to softball.

WHEN IT IS HOT IT IS HOT ....
we are very conscious of the dangers of getting over heated.  On Saturday, we will take water breaks about every 15 minutes & shower Players down with water hoses --- We will also look for shade whenever possible.

If a player needs medicine, please bring it along to both days.  We will not be responsible for administering medicine.

James Trevathan is the Camp Director.  Terry Burdick is the  Director of Operations.  Renee Trevathan is the Assistant Camp Director and Dorian Snyder is the CFO and Marketing Director.
